Isca Outdoor have a variety
of schools programmes designed to provide fun learning opportunities
for groups of students through a variety of physical and adventurous
activities.
Our nationally qualified
instructors work along side the school to plan and deliver a comprehensive
programme of activities for your students including:
- Caving
- Climbing and Abseiling
- Hill Walking and navigation training
We can also arrange courses
in Bush-craft and survival techniques.
All of our activity courses
have good links with the National Curriculum and help to meet the
Key Stage requirements for PSHE. The courses also offer young people
the chance to take part in safe but challenging activities while
developing new skills and abilities.
Of equal importance is
the opportunity for teachers / tutors to not only take part but
to observe your students in action, evaluate their learning and
gain a better understanding of them as individuals.
Using a range of outdoor
activities we aim to:
- Develop knowledge and
new skills
- Increase confidence
- Improve adaptability in challenging circumstances
- Encourage effective planning and team work
The South West is a fantastic
back drop for these activities with local caves and climbing locations
that are ideal for beginners.
