Walking and navigation

- Day walks for groups on Dartmoor
- Basic navigation training and GPS training
- Search and rescue training
- Wild camping and scrambling
- Staff are trained mountain leaders

Walking is one of the best ways to enjoy the great outdoors, get fit, see wildlife and visit some of the wild areas of Britain. We offer walks of various lengths from the leisurely to the more strenuous.

We also offer basic navigation training in map and compass for both beginners and those who wish to brush up on their skills or learn more.

Do you have a portable GPS (Global Positioning System)? Do you know how to get the best out of it? Many people now own one of these fantastic gadgets, but many are not using them to their full potential. We can offer full training that will allow you to fully utilise your GPS and allow you to create and navigate your own walks. Training can be tailored to your needs, from a day walk to a weekend course.

We also offer mountain walks in Snowdonia and the Lake District and can teach skills such as scrambling and wild camping and can also provide search and rescue training for the outdoors.
